The primary work of the LSS Foundation (Foundation) is to develop gifts and legacies that support the ministries of Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS). Established in 1977, the Foundation serves as both the fundraising arm of LSS and as a repository for estate and planned gifts that provide sustaining support.
The Foundation receives gifts and legacies from individuals, as well as annual benevolence and special gifts from congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Foundation staff also works with individuals, families and congregations to facilitate gifts designated for specific ministries and programs of LSS.
